Camogie

Camogie is a Celtic team sport, the female variant of hurling. The game is very similar to that sport, but is played with 12 instead of 15 players, and the goal has two crossbars limiting the goal area. Unlike the often violent hurling, unnecessary physical contact is forbidden in camogie.

It is played mainly in Ireland , the most successful counties being Tipperary and Kilkenny.
