IMO Standard Marine Communication Phrases
The draft "Standard Marine Communication Phrases" was developed by the Maritime Safety Committee of the International Maritime Organisation with a view to standardizing the marine communication language (in English) in order to assist in the greater safety of navigation and of the conduct of ship.
